Last changed: 13 October 2026. Written in plain English on purpose; the short version of each part is true.

1. Who we are

Paradox (paradox.ps) is run by the Paradox team. You can reach us at[email protected]. Paradox is not affiliated with Jagex Ltd.

2. Your account

• You must be 13 or older to make an account.
• One person, one account. It is yours and cannot be sold, given away or shared.
• You keep your password, codes and PINs to yourself. We never ask for them.
• You agree to the rules. Breaking them can mean a mute, a jail, a ban or the removal of what was gained, as the rules describe. Appeals go through Support.
• You can ask us to delete your account at any time (see Privacy).

3. The game

• The game is free to play. We run it as well as we can, but it can be down for restarts, updates or faults, and we do not promise it will always be up. Planned restarts are shown on the site.
• Items, gold, ranks and characters exist inside the game and have no value outside it.
• We change the game: updates add, change and remove things. We try to say so in advance inNews.
• If we ever have to close the game, we will say so on the site and the Discord as far ahead as we can.

4. Buying in the store

• The store sells bonds: items delivered to a character of your account in game, with::claim. Every product says what it is and what it does before you pay.
• Prices are in US dollars. Your bank or card may convert them and may charge for that.
• Payment is taken by Stripe or PayPal on their own pages. We never see or store your card number.
• Under 18? You need a parent's or guardian's permission to buy, and you confirm you have it at checkout.
• Cancellation. Because what you buy is digital and delivered at once, you agree at checkout that delivery starts immediately and that once it is delivered you can no longer cancel the purchase for a refund. In the EU and the UK this is the waiver of the 14-day right to cancel; without it we could not deliver at once. Refunds for things that went wrong are in therefund policy.
• Charging back a payment that was delivered as described is treated as a dispute: delivery of further orders stops while it is looked at (see Refunds).
• A purchase does not buy a say in how the game is run or an exemption from the rules.

5. Your content

Names, chat and anything else you put in the game must follow the rules. We may remove a name or a line that breaks them. We log chat for moderation and keep it as the privacy page says.

6. Our responsibility

We are a small team and the game is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the game or from it being unavailable, beyond refunding what you paid for something that was not delivered.

7. Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we post the change in News and the date at the top of this page moves. If a change matters to purchases you can ask for the terms you agreed to; they are kept with your account.
